I have done the S. Bass-Tonto-Boucher trip twice --- both times in
the March-April time frame. At neither time did we have to go to the

Serpentine can be hiked to the river for water. When I did this hike
you are planning one fall my wife and I hiked down the Bass and
around on the Tonto...
