Randy, I'd agree with Bob, both are fun hikes, just different. Horseshoe Mesa will have better views, and the spot under the juniper at the end of the west...

Randy, Both of these are great day hikes but I personally feel the views are far superior on the Grandview. Hermit Basin is nice but you are pretty far back...
