don't know anything about esculators or stationary bikes BUT i do walk BACKWARDS UP A 23 DEGREE 193ft high hill up to my house every day after walking 5 miles...

What about walking down an up going esculator? I also have a 140 foot "mountain" to climb, with a 20% grade to it. Does riding an exercise bike backward...
