Well I can attest to the effectiveness of resisting the treadmill. The first time I tried it was 20 minutes. The next two days brought back memories....

Rob, you may want to consider some Marble Canyon hikes on your return north since the North Rim may be hard to access and Nanko is a tough trip for 2 nights...
