That could depend on a lot of varitables. How far do you want to hike in one day.
I would walk east from the south bass tpthe tanner trail and out in between...

snow level in GCNP
I hiked this morning down the South Kaibab trail to Ooh Aah Point the
snow was down to just above the switchbacks below there.
The snow is about a foot deep...
